I know there is compression through the link cable so this could explain what I'm experiencing but all the reviews I am seeing state that the quality is much better on the Quest 2. In PCVR mode I have the quality set to high quality on my PC's Oculus app. ![]() The screen door effect is greatly reduced on the Quest 2 and the menus and text looks much, much nicer, however games themselves either on standalone mode or through the link cable seem to just look much blurrier. I have also been adjusting it's position on my face every few minutes to get in the optimal position. My IPD is 67.5 and I set the Quest 2 to the highest setting (68). However, I am disappointed by the fact that it seems blurrier than the Rift S even though the resolution is much higher. Then when they released the Quest, and the Quest 2, and optimised every title for the Quest. So I have a Rift S, but I wanted to try out the Quest 2 to see if it's a better experience.
